Guidelines for the Continuation of the Energy Transition throughout Southeast Europe
This year's Renewable Energy Conference in Southeast Europe - Renewable South 2025 was held on 7 and 8 May in Mostar, at the Inter - Technology Park, and was hosted by Alfa Therm.
During the two-day event, participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and innovations in the field of solar power plants, wind power plants, heat pumps, hydroelectric power plants, biomass and other sustainable energy techniques in Bosnia and Herzegovina and surrounding countries. It was also possible to gain insight into concrete solutions related to the energy transition, and two round tables were held, one on the topic of further development of the power and energy system of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the second round table analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the use of renewable sources.
In a series of presentations (lectures and an one-on-one interview) held by experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro, the importance of cooperation, innovation and inclusiveness in the energy transition, which is gaining momentum in all countries of Southeast Europe, was highlighted, regardless of whether it is about projects or a change in approach and thinking.
